I Dream Love May Grow

THIS POEM HAS BEEN DELETED - MAY BE FOUND ON THE WEB

Pardon me for the intrusion
but may I borrow from you
your love's illusion
because I lost mine in the confusion

I'd rather go on believing
than think of us leaving
and missing the affection
fate is casting in our direction

What is life without it's dreams
that break free of bars and stout beams
not much it now seems
nothing like Love glistens and gleams

Your soft way does my heart touch
and you I long for so much
at your very presence I blush
and to leave, I'm in no rush

Warm me with your charm
bring me kindness and never harm
capture me with your beauty and depth
even in silence take my breath

Because to give up this dream
I'd have nothing left
life would evaporate like jewels in theft
The thought of losing you; I fear like death

Promise me this one thing
Whatever life does bring
Don't break the spell of love
While our hearts still long to sing

Because love for you stirs night and day
in moments of work or play
and in your heart I wish to stay
forever and a day
