How will I forget

Why does the heart has to remember
Why does it cling to memories
Why does it allow itself to suffer
Go on living in misery

Why can’t it unlearn to love and feel
Why can’t it say goodbye
Why, why, why
I don’t know

Perhaps that’s what mystery is
It exists but cannot explain it
It’s there but you cannot see it
You just know because you can feel it.
