He was out and about In his usual way Till across the courtyard His eye dared to stray
Never before Had he beheld such a sight Hair of flame Burning in the bright sun light
At the sight of her He lost all control So across the courtyard He decided to stroll
Right then and there He made his way To where she sat in the grass Her mind at play
He was tall and blonde With eyes of green And the most intense gaze She’d ever seen
She looked up at him At his looming height She was held spellbound And frozen with fright
With his touch made of velvet He wiped away all her tears And his soft spoken words Swept away all her fears
The life of an artist Is the life he did choose And she in her glory Would become his sweet muse
With her skin pale as cream And her heart full of fire She would soon come to fulfill His every desire
