The look of pain,
Of disgust in your eyes,
Was enough to make me recoil,
Was enough to make me want to break down.
I didn’t mean to do it,
I say.
I didn’t mean it to happen,
It was a mistake.
He stares at me,
Not really seeing what is in front of him;
A girl who made a mistake
A girl who never wanted to hurt.
A girl who loves him dearly,
A girl who cant bear to lose him.
Instead he sees the mistake she made,
The hurt she caused.
The other side of the story.
Who cares about the words of apology?
Who cares that she is sorry?
Who cares that her heart is in tiny pieces;
That she would rather die then bear to
Leave him in pain?
He tells her to get out,
And to take her mistake with her.
She walks away,
Her shoulders sagging in regret.
How could this happen?
How could she allow another man into her bed?
Loss of mind,
that’s what is has to be.
Deep down in her soul,
Deep down in her heart,
She knows she cant go on.
She takes the knife,
And bleeds away her life.
Taking herself,
And the mistake with her.
