Hazy Liberations 





Radiating knowing laughs from
The eyes of flattery have shone
A hot, but hazy sun through the 
Wispy clouds of a blustery blue sky

Confessing your deepest secrets
Each one twisting a little harder
Crushed my inflicted loyalty
Right before my unopened eyes

For excluding that I was the one
Revealed a nebulous existence
Where catching such knowing looks
Can manipulate the face of forever

Please remove your gentle, loving hand
Resting comfortably on the shoulder of my
Mistrust, and allow me to shed the silken regret
Your touch has left crawling under my skin

For kissing the grotesque
Lips of injudiciousness
Has discarded my fears of wandering
Aimlessly alone, stripped bare of spite 

When you refused to decipher the
Intense emotions I had swirled
Within the vividness of my honesty,  
You casually shook the images of our love

Leaving my fabricated pride
Searching for a heartache liberated
Where scorched deception always
Rains down on love's chaotic charade
