i think that you sould tell her how your family is before hand, you wouldn't want anything that your family might say affect her. If you tell her she won't react surprised by any of the comments that are made. If you explain everything she will know that you are a very sincire person that doesn't hide anything.

i know someone who has the same situation as you do. She'll understand as long as you'll tell her. she'll never doubt you if she truly understands.
