My grandfather died when I was 17 and I wrote this poem at that time. My teacher entered the poem in a national poetry contest and I won first prize with it. But my heart was very much with my grandfather who was my best friend at the time.

one of my grandfathers died 7 days before my 19th birthday, my other one died 2 days after my 20th birthday that has just been.i can relate, its a very strong poem.
