Vacant eyes that seldom blink
Stare nothingness away
Mindless thoughts refuse to think
Not knowing what to say

Waking nightmares follow sleep
And time has been withdrawn
Even when I'm wide awake
I'm still forever gone

Every moment seems to feel
When contemplating space 
Yet I barely notice tears
Are falling down my face 

Caught between our distant worlds
Both in and out of me
Day is here and night is there
But You are all I see
