 | FREEDOM.
Who is so sweet like peaches ripe enough to eat. Who makes my days happy even when there is rain Who takes away the pain Who makes me, me and you, you Who makes the poems flow like rivers Who lets me have a life Who sometimes scares me in the night Who lets me laugh when things are funny That glazes over like yummy honey Who lets me walk around Or dance to my own beat That lies right out of reach Who flew away four years ago Who got stripped bear by girls with straightened hair Who became scarce after it’s beating And only left me here weeping Who left me for another Who got taken away by others Who’s memories are so kind And are the only things left behind Who shows up in summer Who comes back to visit for a day My freedom comes and goes How I miss it so.
