 | Christina went to a party, sadly her boyfriend couldn't make it. She was sad and missed him, and wanted to go home, but her friends begged her to stay, so she gave in and did. Shane asked her to dance, she saw no harm in doing so, so she agreed to it. She had had a few drinks earlier and was very vulnerable at the time. Shane then kissed her, and without caring that he did, without realizing that her boyfriend may find out, she let him. Next day at school word got out about her kiss with Shane. Word had gotten out to everyone, including her boyfriend Eric. She heard that he was frustrated, so that night at his house they talked.
Eric: i can't believe you did that to me Christina...
Christina: I'm sorry
Eric: You hurt me so badly, I thought you loved me
Christina: I do, and will never stop
Eric: Then why would you hurt me like this?! I thought you cared about me
Christina: I still do! God, what more do you want me to do?!
Eric: Right now I want you to leave
(as she walks to the door) Christina: Fine, I'll come over tomorrow and we can-
Eric: No, I don't want you back here anymore
(she turns around amazed) Christina: Are you serious?
Eric: Very
Christina: Look you can't blame me for this, I mean, come on, I was drunk!
Eric: That still makes it your fault Christina
(she begins to cry) Christina: Eric please, I'm sorry, please forgive me
Eric:...No, I can't, not after what you've done
Christina: I can't live my life without you Eric!
Eric: You should of thought of that before you cheated on me
(as she stands in front of the door)Christina:But Eric-
Eric: Goodbye Christina
He closes the door in her face, leaving her out in the cold, she turns and walks to her car, and begins to sob on the way home, while thinking of a way to get him back. Next day at school no one can look her straight in the eye, everyone was too disappointed in what she had done. Every night she constantly tried to call Eric, to try and talk to him and try to work things out, after 2 weeks of trying he changed his number, both cell and home. She was broken without him, she didn't know where to go or what to do. She didn't know how to live her life without him by her side, so she didn't. As she climbed onto the bridge ledge, a discussion that she had with her friend Lisa last week popped into her head.
Christina: I can't live without him
Lisa: Yes you can! You don't need him!
Christina: Yes I do, you don't understand, he was my life.
Lisa: Then why did you let Shane kiss you if you knew it was gonna affect Eric this much?
Christina: I don't even know anymore, but I guess none that matters anymore anyway.
Lisa: Why is that?
Christina: Because...I lost him...
As those last 3 words float around in her head like a chant, she takes the jump into a deadly trip, never knowing that Eric had left her a message saying that he missed her and still loved her dearly, and truly wanted to get back together... |  |
