Forgetting You

We were always side by side
We knew our feelings couldn't hide
But I wasn't the only one you had
I guess you just wanted to be "bad"

So now I'm sitting, writing this
Longing for your tender kiss
Trying to forget about us
Not letting my heart create a fuss

In all my life I've never felt
A love stronger than you had dealt
I wish we were together, yet I don't
For I'll get hurt though you say I won't

So I'll be here thinking about what to do
Mending my heart and forgetting you
