Faiytale

You remind me of a fairytale
That my grandmother once read
You made me a princess
You made our hearts mend

Our fairytale didnt come from a book
this was something great
but just like all the other stories
the prince came out to be a fake

There usually is a happy ending
but not in real life
my book is now torn into pieces
and you cut it all up with a knife

As soon as life goes on
another story is told
but until then my prince
watch as my pages unfold
