It hurts sometimes when you learn the truth of things but lately I'm not running from truth I've had enough hard truth for a lifetime What's one more?
I'm ready for the next act The theater is dark the curtain is fluttering the stagehands are putting things in place
And in that moment of anticipation I turn to my left to kiss you and reach for your hand but you're not there
But the show goes on despite my sadness and I'm forced to endure the Though there is a theater full of people I sink down and watch the show alone
I cry during the love scenes
