Ex-BF, Ex-bestfriend

My ex-boyfriend and i were college buddies. we both hang out with the same circle of friends way back. We were together for 5 years, and i really thought of myself that he's finally the one. but things fell apart. he cheated on me. i never thought he could do such thing on me, considering the fact that he was one of my bestfriends. he cheated on me twice, yet i still accepted him. but the third time is really too much. even though it kills me, i let him go. while i gave him 100% of my loyalty, he was out there, playing on me.. i have been single for more than a year now, and still wallowing on that painful past. it was so hard for me to move on, coz he never explained things to me why he cheated on me, or what things i have done that made him cold. there were times i took step forward, but hold back, coz deep inside me i still long for his explanations. i don't wanna feel hate on him, coz for once in my life, he had been a good friend to me. all i want now is to move on, but i'm having a hard time.. please tell me what to do.. don't crticise me for my stupidity, i self-confessed that i am. all i want is honest opinion to tell me what to do.. should i have to ask his explanations or just let things go? thank you!

you need to ask and talk to him, after having the answers you can move ON, bc apparently you haven't bc u still wonder why, so just ask. Its not giving in, find out-- you deserve to know, then move on. :)

First of all, you are not in any way stupid. Love can make us to silly things it makes us blind so that we cant see. What this guy did was appauling and you deserve an explanation. If he is truly sorry he should give you that much.
