How I wished I told you I am sorry before you left me
but your gone now my heartaches with pain and grief
I regret what I said to you my tears fall in the ground
Day and night I cry what can ease my suffering now
I open my Bible and read while I weep for sorrow
For I know your in a better place now my love
Someday I will see you again just takes time
Forgiving myself is the only way to heal my wounds
Inside me was darkness now there is light in my soul
God has answered my prayers from above he gives me strength
My spirit is strong for in me there is courage not weakness
What can bring me down when he is always there for me
In the night when I am in deep sleep I dream about you
Your so beautiful when I kiss you and hold you into my arms
I tell you do not worry about me now for I will be ok
You say to me be free and live on I will see you again
As the dream ends you kiss my lips one last time saying goodbye
Awake now for you are not there anymore as a voice speaks to me
Laying there in my bed knowing that you are waiting for me
Years pass by seems like yesterday since you were gone
My body is weak from old age as I lay down on my bed eyes so heavy
The heart beats slow as I take my last breath before I fall asleep
Like a newborn I see an angel holding me taking me as clouds pass by me
Marvelous and astonishing how beautiful the light reflects off the heavens
Now I am here as I see someone I knew long ago how I missed her so much
Arms embrace me with Joy and laughter I made  it into heaven for she is with me
I thank you my Lord for giving me time and patience to let me make this journey
Now I can rest for my hardwork no pain or sorrow nor tears that fall again
Praise him that made everything and worship him that died for you
I am happy now for eternity is mine now with him and my love ones forever.
