Riddle me
with sparkling eyes
entrapped within
the dark filled skies

encase my heart
so bright and beating
within a moment
not quite so fleeting

tell them tales
of knights and dames
where love was real
through fun and games

chilvary was common-
sense
a charm to please
without offence
yet played the role
to mask pretence

embed a shine
inside my womb
so life can sing
a song divine
sorrow walks
a path so broad
but none as vast
as lifes true hoard

shatter these walls
that burden you so
that strangle and bind
and relinquish your glow

let blood roam free
and surge through time
as parts of life
shed grit and grime

conquer a heart
that wails much lust
a tune so melodious
you can't help but trust

feel as I breathe
and sense as I dream
a recipe of moments
that capture our ease
such bliss filled enlightenment
enables reprieve.
