	First we held hands then we did more, Next thing you know were closing the door. I loved you so much you just didn’t know, And now I have to let you go. I knew someday it would have to end, I knew eventually, I would go back to calling you a friend. Even though I’m not your girlfriend, I’ll still be here, With a shoulder to cry on, Or a listening ear. So I just wanted to let you know, It don’t all have to go. You were the only guy I could ever trust, So was it lust or was it love, We’ll never know. I just don’t want to let you go. So friends I hope we’ll stay, Through each and every day.
