The computer just won't cooperate today
the messages are going astray
and I didn't mean to go away
with you I'd rather stay

You touch me in so many ways
bring hope to my lost days
touch me with gentle grace
when I think of you or see your face

The touch of you on my heart
days passing don't seem to erase
and a simple word from you
does my worry from me chase

I'm sorry we can't speak so freely today
But I know you are safe and sound
and I'm happy, I must say
because you linger in my heart, not fade away
Life is best when you're around
