Hope you guys like it, it took me about a day to write, as of recent events, it is exactly how I am feeling at the moment. Feed back appreciated! I know I am dark and twisty, but that is what makes me unique ;)

I just read a Poe poem the other day...I think it was "Alone".
It's not so dark.....because you say demons torment and it sounds like your caught in a dark lonely place. We all are sometimes. Sometimes it's necessary to face these things directly and in the face of nothingness even darkness can have a familiar pull. But I hope some good things happen too that open up your heart again...it happens. It usually does when we see the same dark feelings in someone else and then something clicks and we suddenly wish to help them to something better. I hope that happens with you. I spent about 5 years in darkness and then bottomed out. I asked God to help me and he did. I liked the poem because I like rhyming and feelings and this poem had both.

Thanks for the feedback. I also intended it to be a metaphor. I liked the idea of writing something that was real, but also related to Halloween. I guess..in a way my situation would be like falling and getting turned by a vampire. In this case it would be a physical and moral thing, in my case it would be a change in my persona, and physical appearance. Mostly referring to being attractive, etc. Thanks again :)

And also the vampire (being the person who caused this pain and change) that still lingers in my life somehow, and how to deal and balance that.

Vampires are very popular these days. Makes for some interesting writing too.
