People that say you must find inner happiness first
before you find love
Well that's just B.S.
That's just their life or their philosophy
I don't think they believe it for a minute
It's a rationalization
a pacification
a bold insinuation
a glorification
You just can't find it it you're in a bad situation
You can send a wish out to a distant star
in some far away constellation
but it will be little consolation
when it dark and lonely and raining
all across your inner nation
You've got to change your surroundings
Find a new location
where people love and share and care
where it's safe to be close without innoculation
where true love is possible
and wins out versus fornification
Where holding hands and showing affection
is not a violation
It's true sharing and understanding and appreciation,
not self-gratification,
that brings true happiness
