Confused

I could burst into tears right now on the phone
I know you’re not here and that I’m all alone
Hearing your voice makes me feel at peace
But my shattered heart is missing a piece
...
An important key to make it whole
To get back the time with you society stole
But in all reality you shouldn’t care
I hurt you and it just isn’t fair
You deserve so much better than me
Help me open your eyes so that you can see
To see that I am wrong for you
Even though my heart beats true
You can probably hear the pain in my voice
And that I have made my choice
I’ll not speak of this with you
I’ll hold my breath till my face turns blue
We’ve said our good nights
After having our routine fights
So I sit and think about all that was said
Now I am wishing that I were dead
But I can’t seem to leave you here on your own
While I go to distant places unknown
Patiently I will wait by your side till death do us part
I’ll never lose you though; you’ll always be in my heart
