Bullied and Lonely.

Rejected,dejected she sits alone,
No one can hear her quietly moan.
As she sits in a coroner shaking with fear,
Classroom bullies at her mockingly jeer.

They scratch her face and cut her hair,
Into her eyes they threateningly stare.
Over her clothes they sometimes pour paint,
Or compress her throat until she feels faint.

Chased around the classroom floor,
Over the desks and out the door.
Sreaming in fear, her clothes alight,
She pleads with friends at her sickening plight.

At half past ten, the playtime bell,
To go to the playground is always hell.
"Come outside", she hears them yell,
"Your watch and rings we want to sell".

In her snack box they place a frog,
Or excrement foul from a passing dog.
Often she goes home hungry and sad,
After running the gauntlet to meet her Dad.

To her parents she never complains,
To keep from crying she is at pains.
Why wont she tell before it's too late,
And never again to pass the school gate.

Well said ... as a teacher by vocation, I can relate to the vulnerable students who had become a victim to bullies.

An all too common problem. I hope the really good teachers can notice the change in the child's behaviour and nip the problem in the bud before the child can do any harm to him/herself.
