Broken Trust

Can they hear me cry at night?
Do they even see?
Every time that I’m alone
My heart begins to bleed
Kept apart for my own good
But they don’t understand
It’s too late to turn back time,
My heart is in your hands

Can they see it in my eyes
The pain I get from all these lies
What happened to the bond we had
The broken trust just makes me sad

I live in the shadows of
The dreams they have for me
Can’t they see I’m not a child
Oh please just let me free

Dreams of being by your side
Dreams of being true
Dreams of how it used to be
When I called talk to you
