Conflicted
you ache to belong
to feel comfort
to know love
but one cannot
just love
you yearn to hold it
within your arms
to gaze within and find joy
but joy is seldom found
you cannot force it to come
but you can achieve
though, with achievement comes a cost
or a loss
or a gain
a decision made
a choice encountered
determines what you want
and what you want
you do not know
cause your love
or thought of love
does not exist
in your heart
your claim to love
is fiction
and chances of trust
are limited
ignorant you are
you dream to feel
but dreaming
cannot replace your reality
devotion is foreign
in your world
love but an excuse
sex an experience
meaningless to you
as I am
an emptied void
silence resounds inside
cause on the outside
