I used to dream of someday
but now latley I say
anywhere but here

I try to run away from heartache
and lately I find myself saying
anywhere but here

I dread the holidays
that bring back so much pain
latley I can't stand the rain

I dread the restrained hellos
that come and go
same sadness all over again

I used to dream of someday
happy moments I thought would last forever
somehow turned to never

Its so hard to let go
of the simple hopes I had
that left long ago

I used to dream of someday
but lately I say
anywhere but here

If I had a second chance
some twist of fate
I know I'd choose romance
and pray its not too late
