Above them Someday

Hold your head up high
to make it through the day

Don't listen to the lies
don't listen to what they say

They taint your mind, your body and life
causing you grief, hurt and strife

Avoid the crowds with bustling noise
talking they're secrets between girls and boys

They whisper to each other, smiling as they do
they push and glove, snickering to you

But plug your ears and walk away
you will powerful

Above them someday.
