Drunk mom

You hold the bottle in your hand
Knowing that you shouldn't
You tell yourself you can't
You promised your daughter you wouldn't
Just one beer
This is a promise you never kept
I sat in my room crying
Until I finally slept

You are my mother
So my love for you will never end
I don't know how much pain I can go through
You used to be my best friend

But now you don't have time to listen
For that bottle is what your mind is set on
I can't show you how I feel
Don't know how to show you how far you've gone

You've gone so far awayi don't know who you are anymore
You used to keep your promises
But that one beer turned into four

You're hurting everyone who loves you
You've become a selfish person
You only have time for that one drink
Never have time to listen

To listen to the words of your daughter
Listen to my pain
I can't keep it all in anymore
I feel like I'm going insane.

Note. I haven't really finished this yet but I thought I'd submit it anyway, please tell me what you think. Thanks.
