 | Writing a song for you my love.
Many types of music make me think of you. All sorts of styles of a tune are true. When I sat down one sunny night, what I was preparing seemed so right. With a blank piece of paper and Bic black pen, it was hard not to think of Mice and Men.
Unlike George Milton and Lenny Small, there was no option to write jack all, but at the end of the day, what lyrics was I going to say?
As I bowed my head to figure things out, your little voice inside my head erased all the self doubt.
Your simple advice hit me hard, good job I was mentally on guard. "Think thought provoking" I heard you whisper to me a confused Mr.
Hearing those wise words, I knew you were correct. It helped my thoughts become clear and constructed. With the melodies abducted, how on earth was I going to get everything reconstructed?
Easy I said, going through the motions, still no idea when spotting the Deluxe emulsion, then what went on my head left me for dead.
A glut of emotions came to me when listening to a song close to thee. Fate knew the answer - it knew the score - the lyrical song was destined for top drawer.
The chords of the tune I was listening too, paid a different tribute of you, but as the stakes got more innovative things got more competitive.
Ideas and fights were in my head, it was a good time to get off to bed, to leave the ideas and everything behind, didn’t want to excite my mind.
In the morning when the song was written, didn’t want reactions too smitten, the hard work was only just starting, the process was in no way showing signs of departing.
The chords and acoustic tunes from the guitar showed this song was for a star, it puts you on a pedestal no-one will be able to mar.
Performing the song for you later in the day, the look on your face said "no way" you were stunned beyond all belief, evident by your shining white teeth.
