 | She says give me your hungry, sick, tired, and weak,
Come to America is what her lips speak,
As you enter this land that is so big and vast,
You look into her loving eyes at last,
She reaches out and takes your hand,
And welcomes you to this new land,
The land of the free and home of the brave,
A place that makes outsiders rant and rave,
People have traveled the wide and open sea,
To this land that fills everyone with such happiness and glee,
America is the land to embark,
Is what all of the foreigners remark,
A place where failures can drop their sorrow,
And not worry because they can hit reset on their life tomorrow,
Where every day to them seems to be a gift,
A place where their hearts will lift,
Each day is meant living,
In this land that is oh so giving,
There is no reason not to want to live in America as you see,
Come one, come all to America, the land of the free.
