Tears

My heart has become hollow
My eyes are filled with tears
I think you'll be back tomorrow
To comfort all my fears
But, as days go by, I realize
God has taken you away
Why didn't God foresee...
That I would need you here today?
My life has become empty
Sorrow fills my mind
Why couldn't I go with you?
Why did God leave me behind?
Is there a day we'll be together?
Does it help me if I pray?
Will I be coming up to see you?
Will I be sent the other way?
My dearest mother I will miss you
Until my final day appears
My heart will remain hollow
My eyes will always be in tears.

I really liked this poem. This is how I feel, I lost my father a month ago and it seems like the tears are never going to end.
