 | Are cut before us, lay us down to rest
Can you sit there and just take it?
sit back and relax
a cosey white house chair
drapes of velvet
that mirror the color of forgein childrens blood
defend this home
from the defendless
mask the truth with your father's lies
and pray for peace
but send missles as the peace keepers
play dumb
but know the scream of every mother,
of every soilder,
of every inocent soul,
that your hand's have secretly slaughtered
look at what your hands have seen
a mask of smiles for a face
but your rough hands
covered with the blood of youth
can not lie
yellow ribbion magnets armor our cars
as a cry for you
release the youth of the US midwest
bring them back
thousands of mothers have had their legs crippled
when news struck their sons must lay in the ground
only to have them fall once again to their knees
to beg you
dear Mr. President
bring them home.
