He never expected that day
The day he turned eighteen
She met him there
Tn Harmony Square
Down on the main street

From whence he saw the girl
The one he had dreamed of
They danced in the street
To a lover's beat
The boy and the girl fell in love

That boy, he told his love
He loved her the next day
Then they went down
To Bringham town
And told everyone on the way

They still live in love
And will until their time
I will defend
Their tale to the end
For he is a friend of mine

This is a story told
Of love so pure and true
It's a song I sing
For new love to bring
To bring some new love to you.
