Hey, I have a younger sister who is a junior in high school... she's been thru the same situation. You should try to speak to your mom about the way you feel. The reason parents get all freaked out about their "little girls" dating is because guys are freaken cruel. They just want to mess around when they're in high school. Parents have been there and done that. They just want what's best for you. Right now, you probably think it's not fair your mom doesn't agree with you having a boyfriend. But you should try to understand where she's coming from. She wants to protect you. If you really like this guy, and he's a GOOD GUY (not a bad influence) than let your mother know that.
