Red roses

I always cry when my bf and I had a fight. One night when I was crying I thought what if I asked for a sign, what would happen? Will it come true? Or not? But then I asked a sign that if someone will give me a red rose I will never break up with him.When was preparing to go to school I saw some petals of red roses at the pocket of my school uniform. I was really shocked when I saw it because I'm very sure that there was no petals of red roses on my school uniform. But even I had that sign my bf and I broke up. But even one month had past I'm still thinking. What was the meaning of the petals red roses? Even I don't know why I'm still keeping the sign I asked for.
