He has a g/f, and enless you are willing to wait till they break up, I would go for a differnt one, and you dont even no this guy, what if hes a real jerk? But if you are ok with the waiting, ide diffentatly say bridging some kind of friendship between the two of you is a good idea, And then, maybe you'll be his next gurlfriends. I dont advise that but, go a head if you only want him. I advise you to go look for another hot guy without a girlfriend, maybe a not to close but sorta know close friends, they are the best for boyfriend material, and sometime you can be surprise on how much you can like someone even if they are the super hot stud you want them to be. Yes that my advise, find someone else differnt that you already know, it will save you time and alot of hurt feelings.

I think u should get to know him and then talk to him about him and his girlfriend, and ask him what things that he dont like about her and compete with that and thentalk your way up to him liking u!!!! I was in the same position and it works! but dont make it noticable, and also dont make that girl look like a bad person , and be yourselfv the whole time
