So she would not have to put up with the craziness that I have for her.
Walked away for I love her.For her friendship means more to me than the love I have.
If I stood there, I know for sure the friendship would have to end.

I laid in my bed on a warm summer night with the curtains open.
Letting the cool summer breeze blow through my window.
Looking at the stars at night and thinking of you.
Wondering which one is you, knowing you are the north star.
It does not matter if the night is clear, or if there is a storm.
I always see your light that makes me smile and sad at the same time.
For I will miss you.
There really has been no other women in my life who saw deep inside me.
Who got past the rough exterior and saw a heart.
A heart that only you could bring out, a heart that is for real and full of life.
Only you knew how to caress it, how to make it beat again.
You took my heart in your hand and never let it go.
I will truly miss you.
I think of all the times we had together, how we made each other laugh.
I will remember our first and only dance, how my legs hurt forever.
I will remember how you took my money in a game of lottery, I had alot of fun.
I will remember playing volleyball with you under the light of the stars.
I will remember the cake on my birthday, and the time you thought I was thirty-five.

How I’m going to miss you.
So when I lay in my bed staring at the stars and I see the north star twinkle,
I will see your beautiful eyes and smile.
And only then will I close my eyes to sleep, to dream of the memories
of the times we had together.
