 | He spoke in a quiet, trembling voice,
Laying there waiting for a moment to tell him.
So still in the dark of her bedroom
Yet her eyes tightly shut, Her racing heart felt as if It was trying to break the silence that her fears have made
"What a contradiction of this emotion" she thought to herself.
It was real.
She was not ashamed, or scared to feel this.
Just terrified to expose it
She did not expect any sort of reaction, she knew how quick this has thrown herself upon her
But now it won't escape her mind.
So with a mass of release that filled the pit of her stomach
She managed to force the words out
"I love you."
Thrown back by how easy it actually was when spoken, she stayed quiet.
"What does love feel like?", he said after a moment of silence
"Well it seems so illogical,
I, I feel so unbreakable, but I rest so fragilely in your hands.
I would do anything for you, even if that meant leaving for someone else you would be happier with.
I know exactly why and how I feel this inside, I know I do, but I can't think of the words to make you truly understand."
He replied, "I will never understand. Sorry I could never feel love. Sorry to be a dissapointment."
Teary eyed but smiling she replied,
"Never. You will never be a dissapointment to me."
I wrote it just becuase I had this story in my head. It is an imaginitive interprtation of something that kind of happend, but the words and events, etc. have been adapted and changed to make it more interesting and it just kinda came into my head. I used all I know and understand love to be. In my opinion It can not be explained in one word. It is one feeling with so many contrasting emotions.
