 | Have Ugly Endings
Once a beautiful Miss America,
Met her Mr. Right,
The heavens opened, the angels sang,
You know love at first sight.
And he became her everything,
And she became his world,
Him and her, and her and him,
This boy and this girl.
But what happens, when everything rests,
On the shoulders of another?
What happens when you drift apart?
What happens if it doesn't last forever?
And Miss America, always loved Mr. Right,
And he always did too,
And that is why it was so tragic,
When the perfect pair, became two.
So he became Mr. Far Away,
And she became Miss Alone,
Apart, but always together,
His heart was her home.
So an ocean apart,
Loves and losses later,
There are no regrets,
Better to have lost her, than to never date her.
So, an ugly ending?
Sad and bitter sure.
But inside even the most repulsive and upsetting,
A love so deep and pure.
Not what was supposed to have happened,
It wasn't meant to end this way.
But who's to say this is the end?
There is always one more day.
