What does it matter what I feel?
What does it matter what I dream?
Those are things I should conceal,
Because the future won’t be what it seemsWhat really matters in this life?
The here and now or what will come?
To love someone in peace and strife
Takes truth, not emotion, to be as one

What we say changes by the day
What we do means more
Love is unselfish action for no pay,
No lust, no need, no higher score

From passion to comfort, love does wind
So desire completion, not time in sin
When all greed is done we will find
That this is where true love begins
