The Worst

The worst has happened Fear and tears fill me I am nothing but a memory of the friendship left behind What I fear the most is a "forgotten friendship" Or even worse "replaced" I hope you remember me Soon I'm slipping into the darkNever found, never remembered That is promised and the start Help me friend before it's too late I'm fading away, disappearing each and everyday It's starting to take affect already I'm gone within'. A day help me For I fear It is too late Embraced in darkness everyday, Since my friend flew away now alone Emptiness, sorrow, deceit - nothing more to live for So I die inside "forgotten friendship" For what is life? Without a best friend?
