I Was Looking For A Partner

I was looking for a partner
One of the business kind
Someone I could trust
Someone with a mind
I had interviewed some prospects
None of which would do
I met a thousand people
But there were brains in just a few
Some offered lots of money
Some offered to work hard
None had ever owned a business
Or even owned a business card
Then I came upon a lady
Who had ambition in her eyes
She had success upon her mind
Which made me pleasantly surprised
We had lots of things in common
We both had done this once before
We had both been screwed by ****oles
Whom we both kicked out the door
We understand the effort
Needed for success
We wake-up early in the morning
And there is no time for rest
So now we're getting started
And the future's looking bright
The two of us together
Can build a business right
A prodigy with "know how"
And a lady with a vision
The two elements that brought me
To my ultimate decision
