 | ,But Love and Marriage
A bond, a contract, a covenant, commitment to a person. Compromise, promise, vows, for better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness, health, joy and sorrow.
These are things that make up and describe marriage, but to me it’s so much more.
Its feeling so in love and being so wrapped up in a person that you forget a day has passed. It’s cuddling, holding hands, telling that better half of you that they are worth going through the storm for and so much more. It’s suddenly hitting a bump in your relationship road, and instead of turning back and giving up, you find another path that works and you press forward for better days.
It’s praying together, staying together, taking those midnight strolls through life and gazing into each others eyes, and feeling so weak from each others’ love. It’s the start of a new family, and growing old together, sitting on the porch reflecting on the years spent with each other and thanking god for the blessing and opportunity for “love and marriage.” -
