 | Alex change a lot since before. He is confused. Everything seems to be crashing down on him at once.
1. Alex is going to see his dad for the first time. Yes, the actual first time he is ever going to come face to face and talk to his real dad. He doesn't know what to do. What to expect. All Alex ever wanted was a real father, but now he feels differently. What makes this man any different then any other guy. He doesn't know anything about Alex. If he walked by Alex on the street he wouldn't know. The only thing that connected these two people for 16 years are a couple of chromosomes...
2. Alex cares deeply about his friends. His friends mean a lot to him, but lately things haven't been going to good with them. They seem to have become more distant from Alex. It might possibly just be Alex imagining things, but he doesn't think so.
3. Alex cares about his mother more then anything in the world. She is Alex's god. She means everything to him. Alex did something stupid though. He fell behind in school. Alex lost all motivation to do work, and he failed a couple of subjects. He dissappointed his mother so much. Only later did he see what he truly did, and he wishes so much that he could take it back, but he can't. All Alex can do is take summer school and gain the credits that he lost, back.
4. He doesn't really know how but Alex lost all motivation to do any work. For a very long time he just didn't do anything. He would make plans for himself to complete his homework, but when the time came, he didn't do it. He lost the most valueble thing **Apart from his mother** that kept him going. Motivation.
5. Alex still hasn't found someone he could share his feelings with. But looking on the bright-side, he does believe a girl that held him back is finally done with. Alex finally got over the girl that broke him so many times. That is Alex's silver lining.
A lot of things are being thrown at him all at once, and all he can do is juggle them all for now, try his best, and hope. Because that's all he can do... Hope.
