Where are you now
Every night I look for you
I pass the pimps, pushers, hookers and homeless
I visit your old haunts, but still I don’t find you

Where have you gone
Disappeared in the languid spill of the city
Do you still laugh with the brisling trees in the cool morning dew
Or are you hiding in that deep apathetic cave of sticky wonders

I look for you as my eyes close and my body melts into numbness
And kegel sends explosive waves of tormenting forgetful drops to
Melt on city pavement

Where are you I can’t find you
I need you now
