It happened one night a few years back, it started with hello and would you like to dance?
I accepted and without any regrets knew that this was the one this was my chance
He was tall and handsome, someone that I had always dreamed about.
I knew that he was the one my mind had not doubts
We married and I made him a father
I gave him the most beautiful daughter
Many years have passed since than.
We survived all of the bumps and turns that tried to ruin our plans.
But we always knew that we could beat all of them.
I always could still say that I would always love him.
Something happened I am not quite sure.
Something that changed our love that was so pure.
For him to say that I was not the one.
It hurt so bad that all I wanted to do was run.
I was no longer that little girl and started to wonder.
What ever happened to that love, to that dream that I had when I was much younger
I had been cheated from that sweet thought of living Happily Ever After.
