Just The Thought of You

I'm in a new place and I have no confidence to show
But now I have my new friends and have places to go
Just the thought of you gave me butterflies in my stomach
Wondering if any words would come out of my mouthWhile you were talking to your boys about some chick
You definitely intimidated me and that is for a fact
But now you are like one of my boys and we both know that we have each other's back
When I first laid eyes on you I was like he's not all that
But I mean your personality is awesome so I just needed to build up my pride to give you a chat
Now you and I don't shut up when we are around one another
We are getting close now but you are not like a brother
Secretly I'm falling for you and you might get the clue
Whenever my girls are with me all I seem to talk about is you
I seemed to notice that we flirt quite often
There is one problem though You have a girl friend
I'm not the type of person to break up a couple
I'm trying to fight my urge though so your girlfriend is in trouble
I started to like a new guy but in the end he just ignored me and turned me down
I talked to you about it and you turned my sadness right around
You told the one I liked that he was stupid
Thanks for that he really is one dumb kid
You also told me that you told him if you didn't have a girlfriend you would be all over me
What was that about are you trying to tell me something
So just the thought of you makes me wonder what could happen
Will it be a long term thing or just a thing of the summer
