After 7 years I still am in love with him

When I was eleven years old I met a wonderful guy that was only 10 years old and his name is Angel. He happened to move upstairs from my house in New Jersey and when I first laid eyes on him I knew it was love. I was very shy to talk to him but one day my mom told me that I had to walk him to school and I refused to because I was way to shy but I had to get the courage to talk to him. The next morning I got ready and rang his door bell and he came down stairs so we started walking and I brought him to his class.At the time he was entering the fifth grade and I was entering the 6th grade. We spend every moment together that whole school year and he asked me out and I said yes and we were our first Valentine!

One day I heard my parents having a huge fight in the living room and I went to the kitchen because I was trying to hear what it was all about and it was what I would never expect... My dad cheated on my mom, with my boyfriend Angel’s mom. I couldn't believe it! My mom immediately kicked Angel’s family out of the house and I never got to say good bye. Even though that all happened I still loved him and I knew he left hating him because he didn't understand. I spend everyday for years crying for him I missed him so much.

Five years later when I was fifteen I was eating in Burger King with my friends and a guy yelled my name and said hi and I looked over at him and didn't recognized him but it was Angel and when I realized it was him he was gone and I knew that second I lost the love of my life forever. A week later I was in Mc Donalds and he saw me again and came inside and I turn to him and hugged him so tight and we meet up 3 days later and I told him how much I loved him and I really want to spend the rest of my life with him, but he was living in Dominican republic so it was impossible. That day we said goodbye and I told him no matter how far we are I’ll always love him and he told me the same .

Two years after that I moved to Florida and I would come to visit my friends in New Jersey. I was clubbing with my friends in NJ and I saw one of my old friends there and she told me "Guess who came to see me and wanted to see you" I said who and she said Angel and I couldn't believe it was Omg where is he now and she said he moved to Florida I said where... She said Miami and I was living in Kissimmee near Orlando, it was 4 hours away. I said to my friend do you know his number and she said its around my house somewhere I made her look for it and when I was in the airport on my way back to Florida I called her and she found it I called him and he answered and I said is this Angel speaking and he replied yes I said it’s me Yesenia and he couldn't believe it. We told each other how much we loved each other and he asked me out and we formed a relationship. We meet up many times and we lost our virginity to each other it was beautiful.

I'm now 18 years old and he is 17 years old and we are together. It’s a long distance relationship but we are doing it. It very hard for my mom because of the situation and my parents are still together my dad as been faithful to her. Love is the best feeling in life and I loved him for 7 years and I’m so happy we are together now we are planning to get engaged later and spend the rest of our lives together.
