So young

Do you think its selfish
How I bleed for you each day
Fighting so hard to recover
Watching myself slip away
Cant you see past the smiles
Sense the pain deep inside
Dig beneath the surface
For the truth that I hide
Its not something I'm proud of
But I just can't explain
Why I reach for the knife
To help numb my pain
I know nobody loves me
I just hate what I am
I'm not being self centered
I just dont give a damn
I'm not just a depressive
Or victim of circ*mstance
And I'm not sure I'd end it
If I was given the chance
There's just so much sh*t
I must deal with each day
I keep it secret because
No one cares anyway

wow that sounds similar to mine I haven't cut for 6 months but the urge to right now is so strong your poem was great

OMG.. dat is so similar to a poem I wrote but am not goin to put on this site..but I have suffered the same thing and I no how you feel
