Hoping my dreams come true

The day I met you was one of the best days of my life
When I hurt you it was the worst day of my life
It was only then I knew I had to spend the rest of my life with you

When I saw your face for the first time it made me the happiest guy
When I saw you for the last time it made me cry
It was then I knew how hard I had to try to make it all right

To bring joy to you makes me smile inside
You bring me joy and that makes me smile outside
That is how I know it will be alright

In my dreams I see you there
Holding my hand it can only be you there
Being in love it is only fair

It my heart you will always be
Holding me tight it will be alright
That is when I knew you were my delight

To close my eyes and never see you
Would not be fair in love or life
My dreams you will always be
Hoping that one day it will not be a dream
