If only you knew how much I wished

How when it smiled down upon me, that I wished it had been your smile instead,
As the birds were singing in the trees,how I wished it were you singing,
Piercing the air with your wonderful voice,
If only wishes were horses,
I would ride to the most faraway lands with you...
